《崛起的月亮》是由韩国南里舞蹈团表演的现代舞蹈作品。这个表演融合了自朝鲜王朝（1392〜1910年）以来发展起来的韩国和朝鲜战争（1950年）以及现代的艺术。我收集了朝鲜王朝时期的40幅艺术作品、韩朝80幅艺术作品以及80幅韩国儿童艺术作品。表演中展示的儿童艺术作品来自于美国40名韩裔儿童和韩国内40名儿童的作品。这些儿童的作品表达了对朝鲜半岛和世界和平的祝愿。五位舞者和三位音乐家通过舞蹈来表现韩国艺术的形象，并传达了儿童们的愿望。我在这个演出中担任了选角导演的角色。
